The new north is the part of the city in Tel Aviv which stretches from Ibn Gvirol Street to the west, to Ayalon lanes in the east, between the Hayarkon River to the north and King Saul Boulevard to the south. The construction in the new north is mainly residential, the nature of the construction of the new north varied, and in general its streets are significantly wider than those of the old north. There are also important public buildings in this area, including the Tel Aviv Ichilov Medical Center, the Tel Aviv Museum, and the courts. In the eastern part of this area is the Tel Aviv Central Station and 2000 Terminal.
